Awareness: immersive weekend on meditation and emotional intelligence to discover new knowledge.
Over the course of 2020 I developed several realizations that I told you about in the previous article that you can read again anytime you want by clicking here. The notes I share with you are part of the project“The Essence,” which I tell you about through the piano and through my studies at the International School of Self-Awareness, based on the discoveries of philosopher George Gurdjieff(find out who he is).
Awareness is an event held by Patrizio Paoletti, where we discuss emotional intelligence, doing guided meditation and opening up to new knowledge, outwardly and inwardly for each person. In this article I tell you what I experienced
Writing is relaxing and liberating for me. In this space you will find excerpts and shares from my notes, ideas, insights, reflections thatI want to share with you web readers who follow me, so that we can create a mutual comparison and stimulus to“talk together.”

30/05/2021 | An excerpt from my Awareness. I am immersed in total silence. I can’t tell how many minutes have passed; this practice will last a total of 21 minutes. A new kind of meditation that is slowly making room within me to bring back memories, new reflections and a look at the present moment.
In the past few months I have been going through some very important inner work that has allowed me to let go and take part in a new beginning that is sanctioned right now by the release of some tracks that had been ready for years.
As I mentioned at the beginning, in this 2021, I found a place we call school where everything finally makes sense. A place for discussion and studies that embrace this paradigm F.A.S.E. -> Philosophy, Art, Science, Economics.
One of the most important works that we have tackled in school during the past few months has focused on welcoming. Since I began this journey within the school, many things have changed in me: one of the most important was definitely observing how the mechanicity of our thoughts leads us in an instant to perform actions and choices without even realizing it. We have to slow down, listen to our silences and treasure them: in order to welcome I have to make space.
Images flow before my closed eyes as I continue to listen to the silence.
In order to welcome the new, one of the first steps that was necessary was to feel ready to let go of all toxic relationships that did not allow me to offer anything to the other. Those toxic relationships in which we become addicted and our guilt begins to guide our actions instead of observing what is actually happening. Therefore, our response to external stresses is to be pre-empted so that our emotions are always governed by us and never suffered, a total inner relaxation.
It has been a busy few months in this respect. In the beginning it is not always easy to close and let go of situations that are no longer for you or from which you have already gained all the necessary experience, but at some point they must be closed permanently. One step at a time I am beginning to experience in practice the importance of the law of the octave. A law to be made our own in daily life.
Silence pervades me. A sound interrupts the practice and I return to the present moment. I open my eyes.

A few months ago during the same meditation practice I was writing:
20/03/2021 | Today I experienced for the first time what it means to feel emptiness, silence. This non-place that led me to detach myself from my body. At one point I was even afraid of it.
I had always thought it might be much easier to rule the silence…as soon as I fell into it, I escaped back to reality.
Today I was able to stay in total listening mode for the entire practice. Today marks the end of an important cycle, new horizons and new awareness: every day it is up to us to decide what we want to be nourished by, what thoughts, what emotions, and how we want to govern this.
In the coming months I will publish a new book that will be halfway between poetry and an introspective story. Being here today meditating together with 2,000 other people from all over the world reminded me of how every choice, every step and every situation that comes to meet us in our existence is fundamental and contributes to building the panel of in(di)visible threads that is our life.
Through the study of Theta Healing techniques over the past few years, I have begun this journey of inner discovery that has led me to slow down, listen and judge much less than before. In this state of total silence that I am in now, I want to thank all the people I have met so far for one reason or another. Each of us in our own way has been part of this great theatrical spectacle that is this life.
Thank you Vita.
Do you feel like playing a game with me? Take a blank sheet of paper and a pen and answer these questions: Who are you?
What are you doing?
What do you represent to the people around you?
Letting go for me meant to stop controlling, to literally lose control of everything and then find myself in a new form. It still means seeking that awareness that in every moment we can choose to change and modify something; life is a continuous change.
To do what I feel and want, to create the world I want around me.
If you have read this far I say Thank you.
See you soon,
Christian “DeLord” Carlino
I don’t want to be a guru, I don’t claim it and I never wanted to. I wanted to share with you this reflection I made. Let me know if it was helpful to you or even if it seems like nonsense 😀
