PianoCity Milano 2014 in three minutes

Some have defined the Pianocity Milano event as something ” crazy but authentic “. I am very much in agreement with this statement.

Crazy because: let’s face it, who would have imagined that 60,000 people would have flocked from all over to listen to a pianist playing “somewhere” … well, it is in this dose of healthy madness that the desire for beauty and change lies of people in my opinion.
Authentic why: for a very simple reason. In this event, common pianists in addition to the great names were the masters; yes, because the bill was full of young composers but also of ordinary people who play for pleasure and, above all, the various spaces of the city saw many unscheduled pianists stop and play, almost as if they were at home. And this is the authenticity of Pianocity, to make you feel at home listening to beautiful music.

And I am happy to have participated in this authentic madness .
