Fluon, Andy returns with a big project and in a big way.

Fluon . ( It was love at first sight )

It’s Monday morning. A Monday morning like so many others you will say. Usually (I don’t know about you), I do house cleaning on Monday mornings (what a drag). Imagine the scene: Delord taking the mythical bucket (for the curious ones this is what I use, but then come back here to read the article eh), slowly let a few drops of a product X slip to clean the floors, squeeze the rag and start the much needed floor cleaning operation. Beautiful, is not it? I think the most convinced feminists are very happy to read this Gossip (but where?).
Let’s go back to this moment. There. I am there cleaning and I get yet another notification on Skype. I don’t know what pushed me, I dropped everything and ran to see (oh, you never know that Keith Jarret ever wants to produce some of my records or compliment me on the worldwide success of Chasing …).
A link. How can you resist hitting a fucking link? Impossible. Worse than the famous Fruit Joy commercial (but keep reading eh, go see the link later. Come on hold on!). And here a world opens up, which I already knew in part, but had fallen into Standby: the world of Fluon . For those unfamiliar with them, they are born from the brilliant mind of Andy, former keyboard player of the Bluvertigo band. Now, many of you will be wondering what is special about them and all that I am saying. Here, I tell you.

It was back in 1997. At that time when you were at home and happened to watch television, there was only one channel worth seeing: VIDEOMUSIC. For the most nostalgic and for today’s young people who unfortunately are forced to have only shit through MTV, at this link you can understand many things … I still remember that day as if it were today. I turn on the TV. I hear this phrase ” Do you like mechanics magazines? ” That day marked for me a fundamental point in my musical growth, I had met Bluvertigo . It was a breaking point for me as I had devoured my father’s entire 1960s discography as a 12-year-old. Here, going back to today, I experienced the exact same sensations as I clicked on the play button and immersed my listening in Andy’s new project. I called it a breaking point. A break with traditional schemes (at least for me). Finally, after years of useless music that I hear everywhere, a band arrives that manages to give me back those lost and almost forgotten sensations … the first single “The assassin is the butler” has now entered by arrogance into my playlist on Spotify . I conclude (also because I should go back to my cleaning on Monday), quoting this sentence which in my opinion summarizes exactly the message that the individual wants to convey and I also wish everyone:

Everyone sees what he wants to see
Everyone feels what they want to hear

( freedom always, Delord )

And how do you see it? Do you always hear what you want to hear? Do you always see what you want to see?

Ps Fluon have opened a Crownfunding project on Music-Raiser, to become part of their new album: it’s really worth it !
