It is a very special day. Autumn is born. Summer slowly disappears and leaves room for a new beginning … It is no coincidence that I wanted to choose this date to begin the second season of this format (Delord tells Delord), in which I invite you to sit in my living room and discover what lies behind my music and my way of seeing ‘art.
Many have defined my style as “recognizable to the ear” “a trademark”, I don’t know if it’s true or not, I like to imagine it and that others say it. And here I see him spinning this “trademark”, greeting everyone, bowing, thanking him and then, in the evening, returning home, he pauses a moment more on the details. Look closely, check. He gets up, touches the keys, caresses them and thanks each of the 88 occupants of this magical building that many call “Piano”. And so the thanksgiving march starts: the building opens, fills with light and you can see crazy hammers fighting against each other to recreate those ambiguous festive situations in which you find yourself drunk and observe the slow flow of the time, what is happening around you …
And this is how I want to continue creating: free and drunk with happiness, observing from a glass the world around us that slowly continues its inexorable race against time …
