The piano music project was born in the mind of the pianist with the aim of bringing East and West, two cultures seemingly at antipodes but which have in common, deep roots and the progressive loss of identity caused by globalization.
Globalization that has effectively devoured all that is tradition and culture, destabilizing and distancing people from their origins and essence.
The protagonist and common thread throughout the piano music project is Love, which nowadays is almost never taken into consideration except as a tool, emptying it of meaning and intensity.
Love understood not only between man and woman, but also as a force that moves and nourishes people by enriching their souls through passions, culture, sharing and spirituality.
These are all aspects that are touched upon and told in the 9 pieces and video clips of piano music that are part of Gate.
Gate is the title of this project featuring 9 music tracks and related 9 video clips.
Through the images in the video clips, a journey is to be told, and each clip will be a chapter in this story.
In fact, Gate represents the first Italian experiment of a music-series, that is, a record that will be released in three different parts and will see the light of day over the course of a year; the record itself will be accompanied by 9 video clips released each month. The project will close in October 2018 with the editing of the 9 video clips within a short film, filled with remix versions of the songs and more.

In the first 3 video clips, the main actor is Love between man and woman. It tells how a Love can be born: the randomness, the intensity, the shyness, the joy, the glances, the uncertainty, the discovery. It is intended to emphasize the more poetic and magical aspect of this feeling, an aspect that especially in our times has been forgotten, instrumentalizing Love by emptying it of true and deep feelings. In the video clips, through the looks of the two protagonists and the music that accompanies them in their encounters, we experience the intensity of their feeling.
The setting of the story is Italy and its culture, which is expressed in different situations blending with the Asian culture of the protagonists. There is a focus on architecture that, from the oldest to the contemporary, contextualizes the locations.
If in the first 3 video clips we talk about classic and if we want to take it for granted Love, i.e., that between a man and a woman, in the next 3 videos we are going to shoot we thought to give Love a more personal and spiritual aspect.

- Love as Passion: one’s passions and interests; doing what gives us joy to do.
- Love as Culture: study, knowledge, knowledge as a source of freedom.
- Love as Bonding: roots, friendship, sharing and interaction.
