It is 10:45 pm. I thank everyone, a big applause rises from the audience in front of me and the curtain closes. It all went by so quickly that I didn’t even realize that I had almost “raped” that magical object that I had in front of me all day: an immense YAMAHA C3<\/a> .<\/p>\n

But let’s start this short but intense story a little from the beginning … I enter the Theater at 1 pm and there is already an air of great celebration. one hundred); I can already catch a glimpse of the piano being reassembled piece by piece on the stage and the tuner sets out to make perfect the sound that will come out in a few hours … in the meantime my assistant Jessica prepares everything necessary for the set-up of the stage, you can see hidden heart-shaped balloons, a painting for a painter, an armchair and various objects that little by little take on new life in this infinite game that is visualpiano<\/a> … the hours fly by. That wait that I had been carrying with me for months in preparation for all this, is now just a very sweet squeeze in the stomach: it always happens to me. At every date the emotions I feel are indescribable and contain in me the eternal challenge between Delord the composer and Delord the performer, always ready to mock themselves to decree a winner in the imagination of my head …<\/p>\n

I am happy. Happy as never before. I look around and slowly see everything that I had imagined many years earlier in my head and drawn on a sheet of paper come true … visualpiano<\/a> is all around. It is not just music; it is the ability to tell by visualizing, a music that for many is difficult to imagine, almost impossible … it is a small world that is created and vanishes within an hour. I want that hour for my audience to be unique, ours, shared, profound, exciting, stimulating. Closed the doors, in this hour only we exist … the rest of the world remains where it is, in its cosmic emptiness.<\/p>\n

The lights come on. My dear friends and trusted technicians alberto & diana<\/a> have set up the whole stage and we are ready for the audio rehearsals … imagine the sound of a cello that before I had never had the honor of being able to take with me on stage … and here comes the my new adventure companion Elvio Rocchi<\/a> with his 30s cello with a sound so deep that combined with my songs create an atmosphere that leaves everyone speechless … here we are, the curtain closes. A quick look at the back-stage video footage made in the afternoon by Alessando and Beatrice<\/a> and we’re ready. There is no more time to have doubts …<\/p>\n

I lock myself in the dressing room. I throw some ice water on my face and I’m ready too. A handshake and a hug to all my collaborators, in five minutes we will start.
\nI go down the steps that slowly take me to the stage from the back, I hear the words of the audience flying over my head so low and almost whispered … the lights go out, darkness in the room. There is a great applause, there is no more time to have doubts … we begin. I recite the opening sentence.<\/p>\n

“Think about how dreams run<\/em>
\n on the infinite notes of my piano,<\/em>
\n Do you think there can never be an end?<\/em><\/p>\n

And then try to imagine as if those notes<\/em>
\nwere only one path on which to be able<\/em>
\nslowly slip, could you not fall? “<\/em><\/p>\n

Slowly the curtain opens and it begins … I don’t even have time to understand what happens when the curtain closes and the show ends … it is always like this, after I touch the first note of the evening time passes so quickly that I can hardly think and realize what is happening around me anymore … my fingers fly over the keys and my mind flies somewhere else, observing the thoughts of my audience … it’s a magical experience and only one for which I will forever thank god. The journey begins again to excite as many people as possible and to reflect on important issues such as the search for oneself, spirituality, the Italian political situation, prostitution, loneliness, love, dreams …<\/p>\n
