A record made with the heart<\/strong><\/p>\n A new disc for this young Modenese pianist that collects the work of three years, during which the artist has also worked on research as well as on composition. <\/span>Focused on social issues, Sognare Part II<\/strong> , faces the hot times of the moment, from universal love to anyone in “The consequences of love<\/em> “to the very topical political theme with”The dance of rabbits<\/em> \u201dwhich compares the characters of Italian politics to rabbits who love to jump from pole to branch, boasting the solution to all problems, and then go back to chasing the carrot as soon as the possibility arises. <\/span>The author seems to accompany us on a very special journey, made up of metaphors and passages between past and present, as in \u201c Hope<\/em> \u201d, a sign of hope for future generations who can be saved by love. <\/span>The single to release the disc, on the other hand, is titled ” Lola Corre<\/em> ” and tells the story of Lola, a lonely girl who suffers continuous violence and is forced to exercise the only profession that will never suffer a crisis and in which she seeks legality . <\/span>Delord<\/strong> ‘s music strikes in its simplicity and surprises. A boy who certainly still has a long way to go but who follows the only right path, that of the heart. Yes, because today to make music you also need a big heart.<\/span><\/p>\n Why did you choose this stage name?<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Many ask me, especially if I misspelled the name or what. I actually decided to use this name because, when I was 16 I was part of a Deep-Purple cover band and everyone called me the “lord”, taken up by Deep Purple keyboardist John Lord. Subsequently, a strange episode led me to use this name. In 2007 I exhibited for the first time as a solo pianist and on the poster they wrote “DeLord” distorting the English version of the term. From that day on I decided to use that name, which also represents the two parts that are enclosed in me: the serious part and the craziest part. In fact, the lord represents seriousness and class, but the initial distortion “De” unites the other craziest part of my being. In recent years, my discovery of faith and spirituality have allowed me to look at my stage name with an extra smile, as the translation from English becomes \u201cThe Lord\u201d, ie Christ.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Your albums are both titled Sognare. What does the dream represent for you?<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n The dream represents the hope and the desire to live, to make our life unique and special by gathering the best teachings from everything that happens to us, also and above all from negative experiences. At my concerts I love to communicate this concept and share with people my desire to never stop, not even in a period like ours where we are going through such a profound crisis and I wonder: but maybe the time has not come to take back our dreams ?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Does modern and voiceless classical music have a market today in Italy? <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n I think I can answer you in a very concise way: traditional discography in Italy is dying … And all this because of a system that has done nothing but make music a mere sport \/ competition, making the kids believe that in making music we it’s just the \u201cgetting famous\u201d aspect. Instead I believe that music is anything but. The market then I believe that each of us, understood as artists, should create it. I see a future in which the artist will increasingly become an entrepreneur of himself and his brand \/ music. You know, many musicians complain that they have no space and never be able to make themselves heard by an audience. I am of the opinion that today with the means that we have at our disposal, everything is possible. On the occasion of the release of my record, on November 25th, I organized a live concert from my studio broadcast in live streaming and I thus presented my work to about 150 people, we exchanged opinions, thoughts, reflections. It just takes a much more open view of what it means to make music in 2013.<\/span><\/p>\n If you were a note which one would you be and why?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n It is a very difficult question. I believe the F #, a note in the middle of the 12 keys of the piano scale, which can also very conceptually represent my way of being, almost as if on an invisible thread on which I walk and through the infinite valleys of my creativity, sometimes risking to fall.<\/span><\/p>\n
